1. Overview
Runpost ("we," "us," or "our") provides a matching service that connects buyers ("Users") with third-party individuals ("Runners") who may purchase and deliver products on behalf of the User. This service is available both locally and internationally, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
By accessing or using Runpost, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Scope of Service
a) Runpost acts solely as a facilitator and matching agent between Users and Runners.
b) We do not own, sell, or deliver any products directly.
c) All transactions are initiated and completed between the User and the Runner, with Runpost providing the platform and coordination.
3. User Responsibilities
a) Users must provide accurate product details, delivery preferences, and payment terms.
b) Users are responsible for verifying the legality of the requested product in both the origin and destination jurisdictions.
c) For cross-border transactions, Users are solely responsible for:
- Customs duties
- Import/export taxes
- Regulatory compliance
- Any fines, penalties, or seizures arising from the transaction
4. Runner Responsibilities
a) Runners must ensure lawful conduct and compliance with local and international regulations.
b) Runners are prohibited from transporting or delivering:
- Illegal goods
- Prohibited items under customs law
- Items that violate intellectual property or safety standards
5. Prohibited Use
Users and Runners must not use Runpost for:
- Illegal transactions
- Fraudulent activities
- Transport of contraband or restricted items
Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, and Runpost reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
6. Suspension and Termination
Runpost may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violations of these Terms
- Breach of applicable laws or regulations
- Conduct that may harm Runpost's reputation or operations
7. Fees and Payments
a) Runpost may charge a service fee for facilitating the match between User and Runner.
b) Runpost reserves the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue service fees at its discretion. Any such changes will be communicated to Users with reasonable prior notice, and continued use of the service following such notice shall constitute acceptance of the updated fee structure.
c) All payments between User and Runner are subject to mutual agreement and are not processed or guaranteed by Runpost unless explicitly stated.
8. Additional Charges by Third-Party Service Providers
Users acknowledge that certain transactions facilitated through Runpost may involve third-party service providers (e.g., payment processors, logistics companies, customs agents). Any additional charges, fees, or surcharges imposed by such providers shall be the sole responsibility of the User. Runpost does not control or assume liability for these external costs.
9. Privacy and Data Handling
Runpost will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described therein.
10. Limitation of Liability
Runpost shall not be liable for:
- Product quality, authenticity, or condition
- Delays, losses, or damages during transport
- Customs seizures or regulatory enforcement
- Any direct or indirect damages arising from User-Runner interactions
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Runpost, its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your use of the service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Any transaction or interaction with a Runner or User
- Any breach of applicable laws or regulations
12. Dispute Resolution
a) Runpost is not responsible for resolving disputes between Users and Runners.
b) Parties are encouraged to resolve issues amicably. Runpost may assist in mediation but is not obligated to do so.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malé, Maldives.
14. Modifications
Runpost reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
