RunPost operates as a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting individuals who wish to send items internationally ("Senders") with travelers who have available luggage space ("Carriers"). Please read this disclaimer carefully before using our Platform.
Nature of Services
RunPost is a technology platform that facilitates connections between users. We are not a courier service, shipping company, or logistics provider. We do not:
- Take possession of items being delivered
- Guarantee delivery times or conditions
- Employ or control Carriers
- Verify the authenticity of items
- Provide insurance for transported items
User Responsibility
All delivery arrangements are made directly between Senders and Carriers. Users are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring items comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Customs duties, taxes, and import/export requirements
- Accurate description of items and their value
- Verifying travel documents and permissions
- Arranging appropriate insurance coverage if desired
No Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." RunPost makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
- The reliability, timeliness, or quality of services provided by users
- The accuracy of user profiles or information
- Uninterrupted or error-free Platform operation
- The safety or legality of items transported
- The conduct or behavior of any user
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunPost shall not be liable for:
- Loss, damage, or delay of items during transport
- Actions or omissions of Senders or Carriers
- Customs seizures or legal issues related to transported items
- Personal injury or property damage arising from user meetings
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
Legal Compliance
Users must comply with all applicable laws including but not limited to:
- Airline safety and security regulations
- Customs and border control requirements
- Import/export restrictions and licensing requirements
- Consumer protection laws
- Tax and duty obligations
Prohibited Items
Users agree not to use the Platform for transporting prohibited items including illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, or any items restricted by law or airline regulations. RunPost reserves the right to report suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities.
Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with third-party services including SumSub for identity verification and Stripe for payment processing. RunPost is not responsible for the services, policies, or practices of these third parties.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless RunPost, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from their use of the Platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Dispute Resolution
While RunPost provides tools to help resolve disputes between users, we are not obligated to mediate or resolve any disputes. Ultimate responsibility for conflict resolution rests with the users involved.
